Sharon McIntyre

As Chief Social Scientist, Sharon McIntyre is partĀ of the leadership team at Chaordix [kay-or-dix], a crowd-sourcing technology and methodology pioneer in the brand, product and social innovation space.

Sharon M. McIntyre is an active consultant, leader, educator and mentor in her community. Sharon has shared her passion for marketing, branding and innovation with global corporations, start-up enterprises, public sector organizations, and students for 25+ years. Sharon is currently consulting to the leadership team, as Chief Social Scientist, at Calgary-based Chaordix [kay-or-dix], a crowdsourcing technology and methodology pioneer in the brand, product and social innovation space; Chaordix clients include LEGO, IBM, HTC, and Ford. She is also consulting to the Cameroon, West Africa energy utility company, Eneo, with a scope that encompasses frugal innovation and technology marketing mentorship.

Sharon has held senior leadership positions and consulted in a variety of domains including software, oil & gas, electricity, telecommunications, housing, publishing, and the arts. This included her roles as Senior Marketing Advisor at Schlumberger for their global software division, and Assistant Professor at Mount Royal University where she catalyzed the development of a new Marketing degree program.

Sharon is a visiting lecturer at the Copenhagen Business School and is also a doctoral candidate at Royal Roads University, researching entrepreneurial innovation policy and practice in Canada. She has lived and worked internationally, communicates in English and French, and holds dual Canadian and Irish (EU) citizenship.
